LSS Life Safety Services® is offering Preventative Maintenance Agreements (PMA) for all of our passive fire protection services! PMA is simply a multi-year, multi-services agreement, which offers three levels of protection for inspections and repairs. The Silver, Gold and Platinum programs include various levels of coverage- from inspection only to inspections and major repairs for one or multiple services.
The Silver Program – Inspection Only:
- Fire and smoke damper inspection performed each year of the agreement
- Fire and smoke door inspection performed each year of the agreement
- Fire and smoke rated barrier survey performed each year of the agreement
- Installation of firestopping of penetrations of 2” annular space or less on metallic piping
The Gold Program – Inspection and Minor Repairs:
- All the same inspections as detailed in Silver
- Labor and Material for minor repairs include:
- Dampers – Access doors
- Doors – Smoke seal, gasketing, repair of screw holes
- Barrier Survey – Increase minor repairs from 2” annular space to 4” annular space
- Additional Above Ceiling Services – Install new covers on open junction box, locate and correct wiring, and other deficiencies
The Platinum Program – Inspection and Major Repairs:
- All inspection and minor repair items detailed in Silver and Gold
- Labor and Material for the following repairs include:
- Dampers – Actuator Motors, Damper Repairs (e.g. bent tracks, screws in tracks)
- Doors – Fixing non-compliant gaps, installing new closers, installing new hinges
- Barrier Survey – Repair firestopping of all open items, regardless of size
Each program will offer customers the opportunity to have a fixed budget for inspections and repairs from year to year. The protection may cover any one service or all of our services.
