UVC Air Purifying System

In times like these, everyone is taking extra precautions to ensure that their buildings are clean and safe for people to occupy. UVC Light Disinfection is the perfect solution to disinfect your commercial building’s many surfaces, water, and air quality. But here are some things I wish everybody knew about our UVC Air Purifying System.

UVC Air Purifying Systems (or UVC Air Protection Systems) use germicidal lamps to disinfect mold, bacteria, and other viruses. This method of disinfection uses a short-wavelength ultraviolet light to kill or inactivate microorganisms, leaving them unable to perform vital functions.

The APS2000 Air Protection System is capable of providing up to 10,000cu ft (1,200 sq. ft space with 8’ ceilings) of continuous sanitized air all while meeting the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) required 12 air exchanges per hour to maintain a clean air environment. The APS2000 combines:

  • Ultraviolet-C Spectrum lighting (UVC) by Steril-Aire™ – kills 99.9999% of airborne bacteria, viruses and other pathogens
  • HEPA filter – captures 99.97% of 0.3-micron particles
  • Carbon filter – removes gases and other volatile organic compounds (VOC’s)

This UVC Air Purifying system will improve the air quality in spaces up to 7,200 sq ft depending on the number of air exchanges needed for your application. Increasing Air Changes per Hour (ACH) reduces the time it takes to remove contaminants from the conditioned space. Some of the Systems benefits include:

  • 99.9 surface disinfection
  • Sterilizes mold, bacteria, and viruses
  • Improves HVAC efficiency
  • Improves indoor air quality

UVC Air Purifying System are simple, effective ways to curb bacterial and viral growths. These specialized lamps produce an ultraviolet (UV) light that disrupts growth and deactivates existing growths, aiding in the disinfection of surfaces, water and more. Using one in your facility can help improve everything from water and air quality to the health and well-being of you and your occupants. By treating the air circulating in your heating and cooling system, UV germicidal lamps can kill mold and destroy airborne viruses and bacteria that, ultimately, lead to colds, flus and other illnesses. This can keep you and employees healthy.
